Lucknow: A 15-day “Navrang Summer Camp-2026” began on Thursday at Tilak Shishu Niketan School in Lucknow with an aim to nurture hidden talent and provide children a platform for creative expression. Organised under the banner of JPS Star 11, the camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from young students.
The camp, coordinated by Arvind Saxena, introduced children to the basics of Indian classical dance and acting on the opening day. Participants were trained in basic dance movements and dialogue delivery techniques to strengthen their stage confidence and performance skills.
Filmmaker Pradeep Srivastava inaugurated the camp by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. During the event, T.R. Mishra and Sanjoti Mishra said the camp would help in the overall development of children while encouraging their artistic and creative abilities.

Organisers informed that the upcoming sessions will include folk dance, music, arts and crafts, and various aspects of acting. Several teachers, students, and volunteers, including Tripti Mishra, Preeti Yadav, Anita, Shruti Saxena, Anushka Yadav, and Muskan, were present during the inauguration ceremony.
